![]() Seeing Clearly Your eyes look out for you, but are you looking out for them? Do you have sore eyes, headaches or blurred vision? Well, your body might be trying to alert you to problems in your work environment. Computer Vision Syndrome affects millions of people who work on a computer every day. To help reduce the strain on your eyes, try adding a lamp to create a more focused light around your computer. In some cases, you might need to get a pair of computer glasses, which reduce glare from the screen, allowing your eyes to focus more easily. Other more serious problems, though, can be life changing. Each year 24,000 people lose their sight to diabetes and diabetic retinopathy. A routine eye exam can help resolve many minor issues and expose any potential problems before it’s too late. Take the time to get your eyes checked every year. Don’t forget, if you’re enrolled in the Nielsen Vision Service Plan (VSP), a yearly eye exam from an in-network provider is only $10!
