Challenge: You have a health plan, but you’re still struggling!

Solution: Sometimes all it takes is a bit of expertise. So, if you’re looking for a new doctor or medical facility, scheduling an appointment with a hard to reach specialist, searching for elder care or trying to balance your medical bills, try Health Advocate. Health Advocate is new to Nielsen, but their trained professionals, including registered nurses, have years of experience and are available to be your advocate.

Challenge: You don’t have time to focus on you.

Solution: You work hard and you play hard. Take the time to make sure both your mind and body are performing at their best. The Nielsen Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offered through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, knows that being healthy is more than having a good heart and strong bones.

The EAP offers counseling for relationship and family problems, substance abuse, depression, stress and more; a children’s Web site; elder and child care referral services; self-assessments, internet resources and other tools. Plus, Nielsen pays the full cost of the first three sessions with an EAP counselor—whether they’re in person or on the phone.

As a Nielsen employee or dependent, you have confidential and free access to the EAP 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Log on to the EAP Web site (access code: Nielsen) or call 1-888-392-5738. You don’t need to be an Anthem member to access the EAP.
